Where the route goes

The route leaves our base in Adeje, follows the coast road up to Tijoco and comes back by the sea through El Balito, Callao Salvaje and Playa Paraíso. These are the areas, in the order you pass them.

  1. Tijoco

Along the coast road, between banana plantations and above the Isorana cliffs, the route reaches the Ricasa turn-off, on the way to Tijoco. This is the northernmost point of the tour: from here we head back south.

  2. El Balito

On the way back, the route leaves the main road and drops down to the coast through banana plantations. At El Balito the sea is right in front of you.

  3. The coast at Playa Paraíso

The way back runs through Callao Salvaje and along the coast at Playa Paraíso, with La Gomera straight ahead. On the late departure, this is where you watch the sun drop into the sea.

Frequently asked questions

The things people ask us most before booking. If something is missing, send us a WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the tour?

Two hours. The briefing at the base happens before that.

Can I choose the sunset departure?

Yes, from 15 December. It is the same tour at the same price; you just pick that time when you book.

Do I need experience to drive a buggy?

No. Before setting off there is a briefing at the base. You ride as a group behind the guide, at a pace everyone can handle.

Do I need a driving licence?

Yes, a valid one. The route runs on roads open to traffic, so it is not optional. Showing a photo of it on your phone is enough.

Can children come?

Yes, as passengers, from 1.10 m tall. Only licence holders can drive.

Do you pick me up from my hotel?

Yes. Pick-up and drop-off are included in the price for hotels and apartments in the south of the island. We confirm the time when you book.
